“Habitat Happenings” for Summer 2026

Our new quadruplex is nearly completed, and the first family to move in is scheduled for the end of June! Our thanks to all of the volunteers, businesses, and contractors to make this dream a reality.
The cottages on Hope Springs Drive have begun, with foundations completed and walls installed on one lot. This is a partnership between Habitat and Blue Ridge Community College’s Apprenticeship Program.
The Leviska’s home is finally completed, and the family has begun the process of moving in to focus on building a new future.
There are two relocation homes being built on See-Off Road for families that were affected by Hurricane Helene. After losing everything, they will finally be able to forge new opportunities with an amazing community.
Our Critical Home Repair team has now completed 232 repairs on 134 homes in Transylvania County, improving living conditions and allowing our residents to remain in the home they love. Great job, team!
