Volunteers are the lifeblood of every single Habitat home that we build and repair. We simply couldn’t do it without your commitment and desire to see true change in the community.

Are you looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity that will excite you, create positive change and help out those in need? Help us build communities for new Habitat applicants and be a part of an amazing team at the same time! We’ll work with you to create the perfect schedule.

We want YOU!

* Pick your days and hours Monday-Friday
* Use your tools or use ours
* Gain hours for school or civic organizations
* Work alongside other awesome people
* Get your church, friends, or neighborhood involved

Join Our ReStore Team…

Our Habitat ReStore on Ecusta Road in Brevard is chock full of new and gently used furniture, appliances, home decor, vinyl records, and amazing deals on building supplies. As a ReStore volunteer, we’re looking for folks that have a great smile and willingness to help out our customers. Call for more info: 828-862-4663.

Typical work includes:

Assisting with checkout and register duties.
Pricing new donations.
Test and repair merchandise in our warehouse.
Cleaning and straightening shelves.
Loading and unloading ReStore trucks.

Serve on a Habitat Committee…

Community Relations – Get the word out about Habitat
Fundraising – Grants, donations, etc.
Family Nurture – Walk through the process with our future homeowners
Family Selection – Help choose the right home for future homeowners
